To View this, and other sites, at their best set Windows XP to ClearType:
Right click on your desktop, select properties, select the appearance tab, click the effects button.
Now check the box “Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts” and select ClearType from the dropdown.
This will make text much smoother and easier to read, in browsers and some other programmes. You can leave it set.
No 79 Keswick - Seatoller Bus:
We have a good bus service, roughly half hourly in summer and hourly in winter.
Please support it if you can. Our roads are narrow and twisty, and parking is very limited in the valley, a lot of congestion is caused by thoughtless parking.

After years of providing this service the Cookes and their helpers have sadly decided that it is no longer viable. We have ourselves to blame for not supporting it more. They are working with the Relphs of Yew Tree Farm to make some of their goods available, in addition to the refreshments, at The Flock Inn before they close. There will be a planning application for change of use, but no change to the exterior of The Flock Inn. We have decided to support this application as we accept that closure is now inevitable, and having part of the service is better than none.
